How are we different from traditional enterprise support?

  • Writing a business plan is not the best way to start a business
  •  We believe you don’t always need capital and investors to build a successful business
  • We excite and inspire people to want to start a business
  • We deliver the latest online business models where people can make money from home
  • Fun and passion are at the core of everything we do
  • We compliment traditional business support by getting people started and feeding into their mentoring and support schemes
  • We build the businesses with people in the workshops so they believe they can do it
  • We create a community that support each other long after we leave

The workshops we run

Who wants to go to a workshop called "How to write a business plan?"

Sound exciting??

We have been to a few in our time and they aren't only boring but they suck the motivation out of would be entrepreneurs and actually stop them from getting going. We do something different running workshops like:

  • How to start a business with NO money
  • I don't get twitter: 12 ways to make money online now
  • How to make a website for free
  • Never go back - 10 ways to leave the job centre behind you forever!

1. Pre-project we meet key partners and members of the community to involve people in developing the Pop Up Business School that will best serve the community.

2. In the Marketing phase we work to tell as many people as we can about the the Pop Up Business School.  Our job is to find those people that are contemplating enterprise or have already started.

3. We 'Pop Up' for a fixed period of time in a space identified by the community.  Our job is to give individual-centered high quality support. We run workshops, facilitate peer learning, coach and mentor those people serious about making their own money.

4. We make a record of our interactions so people can access them after the project has ended.  We empower communities to continue the support after the project has ended.
